It might seem ages away but externals will be zooming up sooner than you think. So here are some resources for dealing with unfamiliar texts. The exam and also just any kind of new piece of reading that you have to tackle. For those doing the exams most of the stuff will be for the level 1 but it translates to the other levels as well.

I find the best way to approach this standard is to first learn your language features. A handful will do so don't try to learn them all. Here is a list of some. Or if you prefer a quiz here is one for you. But to really do well you should have an idea of what the language feature actually does. Here is a quiz to help with that. Or some more flash cards.
Practice is the next best thing. So head back to that revision booklet from Live Wire Learning or check out old exams to practice.
