Watching the news can be very scary at the moment, especially with people having to stay in their homes while still trying to get on with their life. So I'm going to compile some lessons on here for those who have the internet and still want to get some work done while stuck at home. This would also be good when the cold and flu season hits and people are home for that as well.
Because I like English let's start from there.
1. Watch a movie and write down the MICE quotient of the movie.
2. Pick a scene where one of the MICE quotients are resolved.
a. explain how the quotient was resolved
b. what visual and verbal features did they use to resolve the quotient
c. what visual or verbal features were used to create a mood or feeling
3. From the movie come up with an idea of a story. Write that story
4. Read a book and write a response to what you have written.
Was there anything interesting in your reading or from the movie that made you curious about something. Research more into that topic.
