The Scorpion King
Besides being a pretty bad movie the Scorpion King actually existed. He wasn't Arcadian - though those guys also existed but about a thousand years later - and he wasn't an assassin though considering the only evidence of him is a weapon we can assume he killed a lot of people.
We know about the Scorpion King from the Narmer Palette. This was back when Egypt was a significantly smaller kingdom. You can check out the map here. But very little is known about the Scorpion King.
